Traditional
Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga
classes are taught following the traditional Hatha Yoga
method, and are characterized by a personalized, individual
approach. The classical method implies that postures are held
for longer periods at a stretch, depending on the level of
the student. This will deepen your understanding of the asana
and effects begin to show themselves on the physical and
mental level. The philosophy of yoga will be discussed as
well.
All classes begin with pawanmuktasana (warming-up) to prepare
body and mind for the practice of yoga. This is important
because the asanas require bodily awareness and an attentive
mind.
During classes students will be corrected. This is done
verbally and by touch. No props are used.
